How to Maintain Your Seat Heater on 2008 Chrysler Pacifica?

Before working on the heated seat element, first detach and cut off the negative cable on the battery. After that, take off the chosen seat cushion or seat back trim cover. Unplug the electrical connections for the flawed heated seat cushion or seat back element which are 1 and 2. Once you have taken out the heating element, cut off the wires that come from it so they are flush with the main setup. Please bear in mind that these factory installed heating elements in your seats or seats back are not removable as they are permanently connected and any attempt to remove them can cause permanent damage. The new heating element is built so that you can put it directly on top of the old one.
