2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser Seat Heater Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain Your Seat Heater on 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
A: First, be sure to turn off and disconnect the negative battery cable before performing any service on the heated seat element. After that, remove the correct seat cushion or seat back trim cover. Take out the electrical connectors from the malfunctioning heated seat cushion or seat back. After that, find the wires that run to the faulty heating element and cut them so they are level with the remaining original heating element. Never try to remove the factory heating elements from the seat or seat back cushions, since they are permanently welded on and removing them will damage the seat or cushion. The replacement part is intended to be postioned on top of the factory heating element where it is damaged.
