How to Install a Rear Door Check on 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Before installing the rear door check, check that your door latch is not adjusted so that it is easy for the latch to work when the door is closed. Slide the door check strap (3) on the door and drill the supplied bolts into the door end frame. Should the check strap seal become damaged or worn, exchange it and start again. After that, fit the check strap's attaching bolts into the hinge pillar. In the end, fit the water shield and install the door trim panel.
