How to Safely Remove a Battery Tray on 2008 Chrysler Sebring?

To remove the battery tray, be sure to wear heavy-duty gloves and safety glasses. Unconnect the negative battery cable from the remote post and then remove the battery. Next, remove the four bolts that hold the battery tray to the left front frame rail and then finally remove the battery tray from the vehicle.
