How to safely service a Battery Tray on 2007 Chrysler Sebring?

Before touching the battery tray, make sure you're wearing rubber gloves and safety glasses and remove all metal jewelry just in case there is accidental arcing. Use the hole provided in the terminal casing to isolate and disconnect the negative battery cable remote terminal from the remote battery post. After that, detach the battery and then take out the four bolts holding the battery tray to the driver's side frame rail. After inserting the car keys, remove the battery tray from the vehicle.
