How to Properly Install a Crankshaft Seal to Avoid Damage on 2008 Chrysler Sebring?

Be sure to remove any scratches or bumps from the crankshaft edge with the 800 emery cloth and then clean the crankshaft area with Mopar(R) brake parts cleaner. Put clean engine oil on Seal Guide 9509 and fit it over the crankshaft shaft. Cover the guide tool with the seal so the lip is towards the crankcase inside the engine. Insert the driver into the channel of the Seal 9706 and turn it with the Driver Handle C-4171, applying pressure until the Seal bottoms out in the block. Afterward, set the flex plate, raise the washer onto it and secure using 95 Nm (70 ft. lbs.) tightness on the new bolts. The transaxle should be installed last.
