2008 Chrysler Sebring Speed Sensor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a Wheel Speed Sensor in an All-Wheel-Drive on 2008 Chrysler Sebring?
A: Before servicing or repairing the wheel speed sensor on an all-wheel-drive car, first pull back the luggage compartment carpet to expose the wheel speed sensor cable connector. Unplug the wheel speed sensor cable connector at the body wiring harness connector. Elevate and secure the vehicle, then unfasten the wheel mounting nuts and the whole rear tire and wheel assembly Take out the shoulder grommet from the body panel opening and draw the wheel speed sensor cable through the aperture. Subsequently, unbolt the speed sensor cable routing clip from the outer frame rail and the screw that secures the cable clamp to the rear suspension crossmember. Detach the speed sensor cable routing clip from the trailing link and disconnect the screw that secures the cable routing clamp to the identical link. In the last step, detach the wheel speed sensor head from its spring-loaded retainer on the rear of the hub and bearing and take the sensor out of the vehicle.
