2008 Chrysler Town & Country EGR Valve Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service an EGR Valve on 2008 Chrysler Town & Country?
A: For EGR valve service, have the engine cooled, as it generates a great deal of heat during its role. To clear the engine controller and prevent mistakes after servicing, disconnect the negative battery cable first. Remove the EGR tube bolts from the valve before carefully taking away the EGR tube from it. Throw away the gasket located between the EGR valve and the EGR tube. Following that, unhook the EGR valve's electrical connector and remove the six bolts attaching the EGR valve to the heads. Remove the EGR valve from the engine and throw out the gasket seated between the EGR valve and cylinder head.
