2008 Chrysler Town & Country Fuel Rail Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service a Fuel Rail on a 4.0L Engine on 2008 Chrysler Town & Country?
A: The fuel rail on a 4.0L engine should be serviced only after releasing the fuel system pressure. Remove the cable leading from the negative terminal of the battery. Take the clean air hose away from the throttle body. Take off the quick connect fuel line from the fuel rail using a fuel line release tool. Remove the upper intake manifold as the next procedure. Developed by: Brett Kennedy Using your hands, lift the fuel rail straight out of its mounts and up off the top of the cylinders. After that, take out any retaining clips and fuel injectors from the fuel rail.
