To change the piston and the connecting rod assembly, remove the engine from the transaxle, put it in place, and remove the lift chain. Remove the cylinder head, drain oil and remove the oil pan. Clean the cylinder, use a ridge reamer, make connecting rod cap markings, and remove each carefully.
