How to Install a Rear Sway Bar Link on 2008 Dodge Avenger?

Put the inboard stud part from the top of the sway bar link into the end of the sway bar and then attach nut 5, putting in 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.) of torque while not moving the sway bar link stud. The underneath portion of your right side link's mounting stud should move toward the vehicle's front as it is lowered onto the front flange, but the left side link's remains pointing toward the vehicle's rear. Attach the sway bar link to the lower control arm, bolt it in place using nut 3 and tighten nut 2 to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.) while you keep the lower stud still. Lift the front end so you can let more air out until the car is down on its wheels.
