How to Remove and Replace a Water Pump on a Gas Engine on 2008 Dodge Caliber?

Prior to replacing the water pump on a gas engine, you must release the accessory drive belt. After that, drain out the coolant and lift the car. When that's done, uncover the accessory drive belt splash shield so the cooling system can be drained again. Take the water pump pulley 1 screws out and take the pulley off. Once that is done, unfasten water pump mounting bolts 2. When finished, remove the entire water pump 3 as well.
