• Q: How to install a Fuel Rail on 2008 Dodge Challenger?

  A: Before placing in the fuel rail, wipe out the fuel injector machined holes in the intake manifold. Add a small bit of engine oil to every fuel injector O-ring and then insert the fuel rail/fuel injector assembly into the machined openings in the intake manifold, each injector going into its hole carefully so as not to tear the O-rings. Lower the right part of the fuel rail so the fuel injectors rest on their shoulders and then do the same with the left part. Attach and tighten the four bolts of the fuel rail mounts to 11 Nm (100 in. lbs.). Afterward, link the electrical connector from the injector and lastly secure the fuel line to the fuel rail. Connect the vacuum hose to the fitting, the electrical connector to the MAP sensor and arrange the clean air hose to the throttle body. After that, attach the negative battery cable to the battery, start the engine and look for any leaks.
