How to Install an Air Filter on 2008 Dodge Dakota?

Place the air filter into the filter housing first, then put the housing cover over the locating tabs. After that, raise and release the 4 spring clips to lock the cover inside the housing. Put the hose end of the air duct into the air cleaner cover and tighten the hose clamp to 3 Nm (30 in. lbs.). Whenever another hose clamp is removed from the air intake, secure it to a torque rating of 3.4 Nm (30 in. lbs.). Should any bolts be taken out from the air resonator housing or intake tubing that need to be fastened again, tighten them to an even 4.5 Nm (40 in. lbs.) torque.
