How to Maintain and Fix an Antenna Cable on 2008 Dodge Dakota?

Before beginning any antenna cable service or repair, separate and disconnect the negative battery cable. After that, take out the right side trim panel from the cowl. Draw the coaxial cable connector out from the antenna area which is underneath the left side of the dashboard. Detach the instrument panel antenna cable from the retainer clips on the glove box opening and the support beneath the instrument panel. Before taking the radio out, you should release the antenna connector so the cable is not ripped straight out. Lastly, pull the antenna connector out of its hole on the radio and remove the antenna cable from the space in the instrument panel.
