How to Install a Seat Heater on 2008 Dodge Dakota?

First, lift off the adhesive backing of the replacement heated seat part (2) and place it right onto the spot where the original one (1) is installed, making sure you don't bend or crease it to prevent premature failure. Proceed by mounting wires 3 and 4, feed the battery negative cable through and then join these two. Then, sit on the seat and check if the heat is coming out. Lastly, add the designated seat cushion or seat back trim cover, guiding the seat harness through both seat and seat back and making sure any surplus wire is tucked in between the foam cushion and the trap carpet behind the trim cover.
