How to Install a Seat Heater Replacement on 2007 Dodge Dakota?

First, open the adhesive backing on the new heating element (2) and stick it on top of the factory installed heating element (1) so that no part is folded. After that, attach the two electrical connectors of the new heating element (3&4) and attach the negative battery cable again. Make sure your heated seat is working and then add the proper seat cushion, making certain the seat wire harness runs through both the seat and the seat back and that any extra wire is tucked between the rear of the cushion and the carpet behind the seat trim.
