  • Q: How to Install an EGR Valve on 3.3 and 3.8L Engines on 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan?
    A: The first step to install the EGR valve is to put a new exhaust gas recirculate gasket on the part. After that, set the EGR valve and its gasket and bolts onto the cylinder head and tighten the bolts to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.). After that, put on the EGR tube, its gasket and bolts to the EGR valve, with each bolt tightened to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.). Afterward, join the electrical connector to the EGR valve. Lastly, reconnect the negative battery cable and turn the nut until tightness is 5 Nm (45 in. lbs.).
