To change the engine oil pan, unconnect the negative battery cable and remove the oil dipstick. After that, place the vehicle on a lifter and remove the oil from the engine. After that, remove the drive belt splash shield and take off the transaxle case cover. When that's done, undo the oil pan fasteners and remove the oil pan and the gasket.
