How to Remove a Blower Motor Resistor on 2008 Dodge Ram 1500?

In order to disconnect the blower motor resistor, unconnect battery negative cable to disable the air bag system and wait two minutes. Make sure the blower motor is turned off after 5 minutes to cool. Unscrew the wire harness, unscrew the screws that hold the resistor and get it out of the HVAC housing.
