First, connect the RH catalytic converter to the exhaust clamp (4) and put it in place inside the exhaust pipe (5). Attach the RH catalytic converter to the exhaust manifold with bolts (2) and safe it using a c-clip nut (1) and a bolt (2). Take the bolts between the catalytic converter and exhaust manifold and tighten them to 31 Nm (23 ft. lbs.). Again, tighten each clamp nut to 52.2 Nm (40 ft. lbs.). Leave a clearance of 25 mm (1.0 in.) between your exhaust system and body/frame parts and ensure this at least 25 mm from the oil pan. Install the O2 sensor wiring, lower your car, start the engine and use the visual inspection to look for exhaust leaks, squeezing any repair as required.
