How to Replace a Door Hinge Without Taking the Door Off on 2008 Dodge Ram 1500?

It is possible to install a new rear door hinge on each side, keeping the washersepoxy-coated, so the door will not have to be adjusted. Before anything else, open the front door. Mark hinge 2's location on the door and b-pillar with the grease pencil for the upper hinge, then remove both nut 1 and bolt 9 on the door and all three bolts 6 on the b-pillar. For the lower hinge, draw its mark on the door and b-pillar with grease pencil, then take off the b-pillar trim. Following that, take off nut 1 and bolt 9 at the hinge joint and remove the bolts that join the hinge to the b-pillar, numbered 5. Then, inside the car, get rid of bolt 4 holding the hinge to the b-pillar and take out the hinge.
