How to Service and Repair a Wheel Bearing on 2008 Dodge Ram 1500?

For the wheel bearing service on 4500 and 5500 models, you should raise and support the vehicle first. Following this, take out the wheel and tire assembly, next the brake caliper and after that, the caliper adapter. Afterwards, take away the hub extension (2) and disc brake rotor (1). Now, take the axle shaft nut (3) off of the shaft. Take out the wire from the wheel speed sensor, then undo and remove bolt (1) from the hub/bearing and pull out the sensor (2). After that, remove the hub/bearing by removing the 4 mounting bolts.
