Slide the hub onto the axle part and insert the front bearing into the hub. With a torque wrench set to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.), put the hub bearing nut into Socket 8954 and tighten as you rotate the hub. Back away about 30° and set the next hub nut with it facing the same direction as the axle tube keyhole. Make sure the end play is measured from 0.025-0.25 mm (0.01-0.001 in.). After that, place the retainer ring, with the ring side in the key slot and slide a new axle shaft gasket on before installing the axle shaft.
