How to Remove the Ignition Lock Cylinder on 2008 Dodge Ram 3500?

To remove the ignition lock cylinder, insert the key and remove the negative battery cable. Remove the steering column covers and put the shifter into PARK. Turn the key to RUN and touch the retaining pin underneath the key cylinder and pull the cylinder out of the ignition switch.
