How to Safely Remove and Repair a Heater Core on 2008 Dodge Sprinter 3500?

In order to repair the heater core, the airbag system should be turned off by disconnecting the battery negative cable. Lift out the instrument panel and the HVAC housing followed by the blower motor module. Unscrew the tubes connecting the heater core, as well as the O-ring seals. Slowly take out the heater core in the HVAC housing.
