To put the timing cover on, the surfaces should be cleaned using rubbing alcohol and use Mopar(R) Engine RTV instead of a gasket. Inspect and replace damaged o-rings, apply RTV sealer and tighten cover. Install the crankshaft damper, A/C compressor, hoses, and fan and fill the cooling system and connect the battery.
