How is the Hood Latch Installed on 2008 Jeep Compass?

Installation of the hood latch is as follows, the cable is attached to the latch and connected to the upper radiator crossmember, and then 2 bolts are loosely installed. The latch can be aligned using reference marks and the bolts tightened to 13.5 Nm (10 ft. lbs.).
