How to Service a Seat Heater on 2008 Jeep Compass?

To maintain the heated seat disconnect the battery negative cable and the seat cushion or back trim cover. Unplug electrical connections and cut the wires of the heating component that is not working. The factory heating elements are permanently attached, do not take them out. Add the replacement part and put it on.
