How to Properly Install a Seat Heater in a Heated Seat System on 2009 Jeep Compass?

When installing the replacement heating element, do not fold it, or it will fail. Remove and discard factory element. Stick the new element in place, connect the electrical connectors, and the battery negative cable. Check the heated seat system works, then replace the seat cover, taking care to route the wire well.
