How to Remove and Replace a Water Pump on a Gas Engine on 2008 Jeep Compass?

A gas engine is to replace a water pump, you need to remove the accessory drive belt and drain the coolant. Raise the vehicle, remove the splash shield and drain the cooling system again. Then, take off the screws for the water pump pulley, then the mounting bolts then lastly, the water pump itself.
