How to Replace a Headlight Bulb on 2008 Jeep Wrangler?

Before touching the headlamp bulb, disconnect and separate the negative battery cable. After that, take the headlamp out of the mounting collar. Pull the tabs at the sides of the headlamp bulb socket to hold the base, then turn the base counterclockwise about 30 degrees until unlocked. After that, remove the bulb and base by pulling them out from the keyed opening in the headlamp. Avoid touching the bulb glass with your fingers or setting it down somewhere greasy, because that could diminish the bulb's life.
