How to Service and Repair a Lash Adjuster on 2008 Jeep Wrangler?

When servicing or repairing the lifter and lash adjuster, the first step is to get rid of the cylinder head(s). Remove the yoke retainer and aligning yokes as the next step. Remove the hydraulic lifters by inserting Special Tool C-4129 or its equivalent into the bores from the top. For reusing lifters, label each one so it is returned to its original position.
