How to Properly Install a Rocker Arm on 2009 Chrysler Aspen?

Once you have the valve rocker arms, put them so the piece that dips into the rocker occurs over the lash adjusters for safety. Before installing the rocker arms, give them a light coating with clean engine oil. Turn the crankshaft using cylinder 3 or 5, stopping when cylinder #1 has reached TDC exhaust stroke. For both cylinders 2 and 8, turn the crankshaft so that cylinder #1 reaches TDC compression stroke. For cylinders 4 and 6, turn the crankshaft until cylinder #3 is on its highest position before compression. For both cylinders 1 and 7, keep rotating the crankshaft until cylinder #2 is at TDC compression stroke. Under the direction of valve spring compressor 10102, press the valve spring down and set the rocker arm in place. Then, set the cylinder head cover in place on the engine.
