How to Service and Repair Lash Adjusters on 2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Before servicing and repairing lash adjusters, first take off the intake manifold cover (1) and the upper intake manifold, always while the camshafts are inside the vehicle. Mark each rocker arm and lash adjuster with a tag, if you plan to reuse them, and then take out the cylinder head cover with care. Lash adjusters are adjusted as components of the larger assembly. Take out the rocker arm and the lash adjuster and repeat it for every lash adjuster you find.
