How to Service and Repair a Sliding Door Latch Assembly for Front on 2009 Chrysler Town & Country?

Before working on or replacing the sliding door front latch, take the negative battery cable off the battery. Then, remove the door trim panel and afterward, remove the module access hole grommet. With that, remove the three front latch mounting fasteners and get the front latch out of the door module through the access hole. Afterward, break the connection of the front latch cable and remove the entire latch from the car.
