How to Service an Air Bag Sensor for Front Impact on 2009 Dodge Avenger?

Disconnect the negative battery cable and isolate it during service of the front impact sensor and wait at least two minutes before touching the system so you do not get hurt when it discharges. After that, unscrew the fastener that holds the front impact sensor to the lower end of the left or right radiator support vertical part. Disengage the electric connector from the sensor and then take the front impact sensor out of the engine compartment.
