How to Safely Remove an Air Bag from a Seat on 2009 Dodge Charger?

Before you try to take off the seat air bag, move the front seat all the way forward. Remove the negative battery cable and allow the system capacitor two minutes to discharge prior to proceeding. After that, take out the front seat from the car. When you're done, take off the trim covering the seat back and peel back the foam on top and beneath the cover to get to and take out the fasteners holding it in place. Pull the seat inflator wire harness connector away from the seat air bag inflator and then take out the single screw from the seat back frame at the inside edge. Slide up your air bag carefully from its floor (bottom) cover.
