• Q: How to Install a Wiper Motor onto the Linkage Assembly to Prevent Timing Issues on 2009 Dodge Charger?

  A: While installing, do not take off the bellcrank or else you could have a timing issue with the cam in the motor so that a new motor is required. You will receive the wiper motor preinstalled with the bellcrank from Mopar(R). Assemble the pocket nuts (1) in the motor before start assembly; otherwise, adjust the nut to fit into the pocket and let it drop inside. Position the wiper motor in the spot it belongs, sliding the pocket nuts into place and then fasten and tighten the mounting bolts (1). Mopar(R) recommends putting approved grease on both the ball and the wiper linkage, then joining them together on the bellcrank. Set the wiper module (3) in place and touch the negative battery cable to the engine block.
