How to Service and Repair a Front Wiper Motor on Dodge Charger?

Before you start, take the battery's negative cable off the terminal. Get rid of the front wiper module. Tighten the wiper module on a bench or into a vise and then unscrew the nut holding the bellcrank to the motor shaft, followed by gently removing the bellcrank with a flat tool. After taking apart the bellcrank, get rid of the two bolts that hold the motors in place. Beware of the two pocket nuts because they should be reused to hold the linkage back in place. After that, take out the wiper motor from the wiper module/linkage. Put the new shaft seal on the new motor shaft if it's not already there and check that it is in good condition before proceeding. Always add the pocket nuts into the motor before assembling and slide them into place or drop them using the alignment guide. Install the pocket nuts where they should go, place the wiper motor in the mounting area and use the bolts to attach and firmly tighten it. Place the bellcrank on the wiper motor shaft, ensure it is lined up with the linkage arms and then mount and screw on the nut. Next, put the front wiper module back in and link the negative battery cable.
