The firs hinges can usually be replaced without removing the hood. Open your car's hood and then prop up the door the hinge needs to be replaced in. Drag a grease pencil or the equivalent over all the spots where the bolts and hinges will be attached for reference later. After that, take out the support cylinder from the upper hinge. After that, remove the nuts that hold the hinge to the hood. Open the engine compartment, then get rid of the two bolts holding the hinges. After that, pull the hinge forward to remove it from the fender rail.
