How to Replace a Hood Hinge Without Removing the Hood on 2008 Dodge Dakota?

The car hood does not need to be taken off to replace your hood's hinges; they can easily be replaced one at a time. Start by lifting the hood and supporting the door that needs the hinge changed. Draw the locations for the bolts and hinges with a grease pencil or its alternative for ease of assembly. Following this, take the support cylinder off the upper hinge 1 and then unscrew the nuts 2 holding hinge 1 to the hood. Inside the engine compartment, take out the two hinge bolts seen at step 2. Slide forward slide hinge 1, separate it from the front fender ring and demount it.
