How to service a drain plug on 2009 Dodge Journey?

To service the radiator drain plug, remove the belly pan, if present, and drain the cooling system. Open the draincock by turning it counterclockwise and then back 1/8 turn and pull it from the radiator tank. Do not use pliers, so as not to damage. Removing the draincock is unnecessary for routine coolant drains.
