How to Service and Repair an Intake Manifold for Lower on 2009 Dodge Journey?

You should first take out the negative battery cable to service the lower intake manifold. Following that, correctly release the fuel pressure and empty the cooling system. Take the upper radiator hose off the thermostat housing and pull out the upper intake manifold. Release the wires from the fuel injectors and the coolant temperature sensor and afterward unhook the heater supply and return pipes from around the thermostat housing. Take out the four bolts that keep the fuel rail attached and disconnect the fuel line from the tank. Take out the fuel rail and injectors all at once and then take out the 4 bolts on the bottom of the intake as you lift the ignition coil capacitor out of the way. After that, take out the lower intake manifold.
