- Q: How to Remove the Seat Cover from the Second Row on 2009 Dodge Journey?A: The second step is to remove the handle cover from the seat and the mounting screws and the handle on the back. If it's required, remove the seat belt trim and also take out the headrest and its guides. Pull the seat back down flat and for the split seat, take out the anchor bolt for the seat belt. After that, take off the back panel from the seat back and then release each clip at the back of the seat cover. Lift the cover and foam off partway from the seat frame and remove the seat belt if it's lying in the opening. Afterward, remove the cover from the foam and cut any hog rings, then throw them out.
