How to Service and Repair a Wiper Motor on 2009 Dodge Journey?

Open the hood and, after that, remove both front wiper arms from their pivots. Start by disconnected the car's negative battery cable and then pop out the cowl's grille and cover panels. The following step is to release both the headlamp and dash wire harness from the wiper motor pigtail wire connector. Insert two large screwdrivers behind the wiper motor crank arm and between the metal part of the drivelink to pop the bushing in the drive link out of the socket of the right wiper arm stud. Do the same thing for the sleeve bushing on the left wiper drive link. Later, loosen the three screws securing the wiper motor to the middle bracket of the wiper linkage module and then get the wiper motor out from under the center part of the linkage module and up through the cowl.
