To put on the seat cover, place it over the foam and hold it in place with any hog rings needed. Before putting the cover and foam onto the seat back frame, you may need to slide the seat belt under it through the seat cover. After that, install the seat cover clips to the back of the seat and then connect the seat back panel. Raise the 60 split seat and place the seat belt anchor bolt, then tighten it until the torque shows 49 N-m (36 ft. lbs.). First, pull the seat back up into its upright position and then put on the headrest guides and headrest. When installing the seat belt trim, place the folding seat handle next, fasten the mounting fasteners and top it off with covering the seat back.

How to Remove a Front Seat Cover on Dodge Journey?

Detach the wire plug from the seat pan while it is out of the car to remove the front seat cover. After that, take out the four seat pan fasteners. Unhook the seat clinches from the seat pan if it helps you remove the seat cover. Start at the back of the seat cushion and pull the seat cover down over the front. Get rid of the hog rings first, then take the seat cover off the foam.
