How to Service the Windshield Washer Nozzle Without Damaging the Latch Feature on 2009 Dodge Journey?

A car with this feature has just one rear washer nozzle latch, damaging it if you remove the nozzle from its place on the car for service, so you will need to change it with a new unit. Use a trim stick or something similar to tenderly lift the back washer nozzle from under the latch that is keeping the outer panel in place inside the liftgate. Extend the washer nozzle on the rear completely out to enable you to find the washing supply hose. After removing the hose from the barbed nipple in the back of the original washer nozzle, trim off 4 to 6 millimeters from its end so it will squeeze well onto the new nozzle's barbed nipple. Get rid of the nozzle you just took out.
