  A: Make sure you totally separate the negative wire of the battery before trying to remove the windshield washer reservoir. Move the washer fluid out of the reservoir and put it into an empty clean container for later use. If optional engines are available for the vehicle, sometimes the air filter housing must be cleared before the washer reservoir mounting area can be accessed. If your Front End Module has a wire harness connector, unplug it and also remove the headlamp washer supply hose from the headlamp washer pump/motor. Release the quick connect fitting by pulling out the security lock of the molded piece attached to the headlamp's washer supply hose. Following this, remove the FEM wire harness hose from both the washer fluid level switch connector receptacle on the reservoir and the reversible washer pump/motor unit. From the washer reservoir, pull out all FEM wire harness takeouts and washer supply hoses. Lift the inside and outside mounting brackets of the washer reservoir and remove the two screws securing them to the back of the cooling module, then lift the reservoir straight up, letting it come loose from the cooling module.
