  • Q: How to Remove the A/C Condenser from a 5.7L Engine on 2009 Dodge Ram 3500?
    A: Before taking out the A/C condenser, you need to disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. Recover the refrigerant from the refrigerant system after that. Gently release the ring clamps on the A/C discharge line and the A/C liquid line away from the A/C condenser. After that, take off the wire harness connector from the A/C condenser cooling fan motor. Remove the two bolts fastening the A/C condenser to the upper crossmember in front of the car. Moving carefully, take the assembly out of the car by fibging its lower tab mounts into the corresponding flanges on the lower mount. When needed, bring the A/C condenser and cooling fan assembly onto a workbench and take out the four screws that keep the cooling fan in place, so you can separate the fan from the condenser.
